Job summary

FS Grain, LLC in Polo, IL is seeking a Seasonal Grain Scale Operator to manage scale operations and ensure accurate inbound, outbound and transfer tickets. This role focuses on reliable data and timely processing at the elevator.

Reporting to the Scale Coordinator, you will handle ticket adjustments, communication with settlement and operations staff, assist with filing and reporting, and provide courteous customer service to customers and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Proven computer skills and experience working with customers required.
• Must have a valid driver\'s license.
• Prefer knowledge of cooperative philosophies and principles.

Responsibilities

• Operate all aspects of the scale including inbound/outbound/transfer, weights and grades, and correct customer accounts.
• Prepare and manage invoices and load-out tickets with accuracy.
• Communicate with settlement, origination and operations staff in a timely manner.
• Provide basic customer service by answering calls and relaying ticket information to customers.
• Learn and utilize the Scale System to generate reports and manage tickets from start to finish.
