Job summary

FS GRAIN in Northern Illinois is seeking a scale operator to manage inbound/outbound tickets, weights and grades, and to support the elevator's daily operations. You will ensure accurate ticket information and assist with invoicing.

Under the Scale Coordinator, you’ll communicate with settlement and operations staff, handle filing and reporting, and provide courteous customer service. A strong computer skills and willingness to learn the Scale System are required.

Qualifications

• Proven computer skills and a track record of working effectively with customers.
• Prefer knowledge of cooperative philosophies and principles.

Responsibilities

• Operate all aspects of the scale including inbound/outbound/transfer, weights and grades, and proper account selection.
• Perform duties related to customer/cash load out tickets including invoicing.
• Communicate with settlement, origination and operations staff regarding information collected at the scale.
