Job summary

FS Grain, LLC is seeking a Seasonal Grain Scale Operator to support scale operations at Grand Ridge, IL. You will manage inbound, outbound and transfer tickets, assist with office duties, and communicate with settlement and operations staff to ensure accurate records and timely reporting.

The role emphasizes customer service, data entry accuracy, and the ability to learn and utilize the Scale System for reporting and ticket management.

Qualifications

• Proven computer skills and ability to work effectively with customers.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to travel.
• Willing to work hours beyond normal when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Operate all aspects of the scale including inbound/outbound/transfer, weights and grades.
• Process customer/cash load out tickets including invoicing.
• Communicate with settlement, origination and operations staff regarding information from the scale.
• Provide courteous, timely and professional customer service.
• Learn and fully utilize the Scale System to generate reports and manage tickets.
