Job summary

United Cooperative in Belmont, Wisconsin is seeking a part-time seasonal office assistant for the grain division during harvest. You will support daily office duties, greet customers, and help manage scale operations with a safety-first mindset.

The role emphasizes friendly personal service, data entry, and teamwork with the Location Manager and office staff. Shifts are 1pm-7pm or 2:30pm-7pm from September through mid-December, with overtime possible.

Qualifications

• Proven computer skills and ability to work effectively with customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication, able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work overtime hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service when greeting and servicing customers.
• Manage inbound and outbound grain shipments via the truck scale.
• Grade grain and identify foreign materials (training provided).
• Record test data such as weights, temperatures, grades, and moisture.
• Coordinate delivery numbers, daily inputs, and verify accuracy.
• Answer phones and assist with other office duties as time allows.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and courteous service.
