Job summary

United Cooperative in Beaver Dam, WI is seeking a part-time Seasonal Office Assistant to support the grain division during harvest. Duties include customer service, scale operations, data recording, and general office tasks with a safety-first mindset.

Shifts are typically 1pm-7pm or 2:30pm-7pm, September through mid-December, with overtime as needed. Training for grain grading will be provided, and professionalism is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Proven computer skills and customer service experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide outstanding service.
• Manage inbound and outbound grain shipments at truck scale.
• Grade grain and identify foreign materials (training provided).
• Record test data including weights, grades, moisture content.
• Coordinate delivery numbers, inputs, and verify accuracy.
• Answer phones and assist customers with elevator hours and ticket information.
• Assist Location Manager and office staff with filing and tidiness of scale area.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and courteous service.
• Assist with other office tasks as time allows.
