Job summary

UNITED COOPERATIVE in Beaver Dam, WI is seeking a seasonal Office Assistant to support the grain division during harvest. The role emphasizes customer service, data entry, and daily office tasks through the Location Manager and Office Manager with a safety-first mindset.

You will greet customers, manage grain shipments at the scale, and help with filing, reporting, and general office duties. Training is provided for grain grading and equipment operation where needed.

Qualifications

• Proven computer skills and ability to work with customers.
• Verbal and written communication skills and the ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work overtime hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide outstanding service.
• Manage inbound and outbound grain shipments at the truck scale.
• Grade grain and identify foreign materials (training provided).
• Record test data: weights, temperatures, grades, moisture content.
• Coordinate delivery numbers, inputs, and verify accuracy.
• Answer phones and communicate elevator hours and ticket information.
• Assist Location Manager with filing, reporting, and maintaining scale operation area.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and courteous service.
• Assist with other office functions as needed.
