Job summary

Paycom in Wisconsin is seeking a seasonal, part-time office assistant to support the grain division during the busy harvest period. You will handle daily office tasks, greet customers, and help with shipments at the truck scale.

Hours are 7:30 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with some weekend hours; a safety-first mindset and strong computer and communication skills are needed to keep operations smooth.

Qualifications

• Proven computer skills as well as a track record of working effectively with customers is required.
• Verbal and written communication skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work overtime hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service when greeting and servicing customers.
• Manage inbound and outbound grain shipments at the truck scale.
• Record test data, such as weights, temperatures, grades, or moisture content.
• Coordinate delivery numbers, daily inputs, and verify accuracy.
• Basic customer service and communication including answering phones when other staff are occupied.
• Assist Location Manager and office staff with filing, reporting, tidiness of scale operation area.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance and provide courteous, timely and professional customer service.
• Assist with other office functions as needed.
