Job summary

FS Grain, LLC in Creston, IL is seeking a Seasonal Grain Scale Operator to manage scale operations, tickets, and customer interactions. This role supports the scale system, coordinates with settlement and origination teams, and assists the operations staff. Strong computer skills and accurate data entry are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven computer skills and ability to work effectively with customers.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Ability to work longer hours when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Operate all aspects of the scale including inbound/outbound/transfer, weights and grades.
• Select proper customer accounts and manage hauler accounts.
• Process customer/cash load-out tickets and invoicing.
• Communicate information to settlement, origination and operations staff.
• Provide courteous customer service and support office staff.
• Assist with filing, reports and other duties as assigned.
• Maintain a clean, professional work area and attend meetings.
