Job summary

GameStop Corp. is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team on a short-term basis. You will focus on sales, store maintenance, and customer service during peak holiday days, delivering best-in-class guest experiences within GameStop's Circle of Life model.

You will greet guests, assist with gaming needs, stock shelves, maintain store appearance, and help meet sales goals while following company policies and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting with video gaming needs, recommending items, and thanking guests.
• Support the overall shopping environment and contribute to store sales initiatives during the holiday season.
• Collaborate with the store team to keep all areas clean, organized, and merchandised per guidelines.
• Assist in stocking merchandise and ensuring products are well-presented and alphabetized on the selling floor.
• Help the team meet and exceed sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions promptly and escalate issues to a store keyholder when needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices and follow safety best practices.
• Adhere to all GameStop policies and procedures, including attendance and confidentiality.
