Job summary

GameStop Corp. is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team during peak holiday periods.

You will deliver best-in-class guest service, assist with video game needs, and drive sales while promoting GameStop's Circle of Life selling model. You will help maintain a clean, organized store environment, assist with stocking and merchandising, and collaborate with teammates to achieve sales, profit, and shrinkage goals.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, assist with video gaming needs, recommend items, complete transactions with selling behaviors, and thank guests for choosing GameStop.
• Support the overall shopping environment including visuals and operations; participate in store sales initiatives during the holiday season.
• Keep store areas clean, organized, and merchandised according to company guidelines.
• Assist in stocking and restocking merchandise on shelves and fixtures; transfer products from stock room to selling floor and ensure presentation is neat and alphabetized.
• Help meet and exceed sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions and concerns promptly and escalate issues to a store keyholder when needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices and stay aware of scams and safety best practices.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures including attendance, confidentiality, and ethics.
