Job summary

GameStop is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team on a short-term basis during peak seasons. You will deliver outstanding guest service, focus on sales, store maintenance, and customer satisfaction while applying the Circle of Life sales model.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting with video game needs, and recommending items during every transaction.
• Support the store environment, including visual and operational aspects, and contribute to holiday sales initiatives.
• Collaborate with the store team to keep all areas clean, organized, and merchandised according to guidelines.
• Assist in stocking and restocking merchandise, moving products from stock to floor, and ensuring items are presented and alphabetized.
• Assist the team in meeting and exceeding sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions and concerns promptly and escalate issues to a store keyholder when needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices, including awareness of scams and safety protocols.
• Adhere to all GameStop policies and procedures including attendance, confidentiality, and ethical responsibilities.
