Job summary

GameStop is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to join the store team in Cedar Park, TX for peak seasons. You will deliver outstanding guest service, assist customers with video gaming needs, and support store merchandising and operations.

Responsibilities include stocking, maintaining the shopping environment, and helping achieve sales and profit goals while upholding GameStop policies and safety practices. Fluency in English and Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting with video gaming needs, recommending items, and thanking guests for choosing GameStop.
• Fully support the shopping environment, including visual and operational aspects, and contribute to store sales initiatives during the holiday season.
• Collaborate to keep all areas clean, organized, and merchandised according to guidelines.
• Assist stocking/restocking merchandise on shelves and fixtures, and ensure products are presented and alphabetized.
• Help meet and exceed sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions promptly and escalate issues to a store keyholder as needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices, including awareness of scams.
• Adhere to GameStop policies and procedures, including attendance, confidentiality, and ethics.
