Job summary

GameStop is hiring a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team during peak sales days. The role focuses on delivering top-tier guest service, assisting with video game needs, and maintaining store presentation while promoting the Circle of Life buy/sell/trade/reservation model.

The position requires 18+ years of age, prior retail or guest service experience is preferred, and being available to work during peak seasonal days. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish speaking and writing skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and assist with video gaming needs, recommending items and upselling.
• Support store appearance, visual and operational aspects, and participate in holiday sales initiatives.
• Keep store areas clean, organized, and merchandised per guidelines, including restrooms.
• Stock and restock merchandise, transfer from stock room to selling floor, ensure neat presentation.
• Help meet and exceed sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions promptly and escalate issues to a store keyholder when needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices, and adhere to safety guidelines.
• Follow all GameStop policies, including attendance and confidentiality.
