Job summary

GameStop Corp. is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to join our store team during peak holiday periods. You will deliver friendly guest service, assist customers with video gaming needs, and execute selling behaviors throughout every transaction.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting with video gaming needs, recommending items, and thanking guests at every transaction.
• Support the store environment and contribute to sales initiatives during the holiday season.
• Keep store areas clean, organized, and merchandised per guidelines, including restrooms.
• Assist in stocking and restocking merchandise and ensure proper presentation on selling floor.
• Help meet sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions promptly and escalate issues to a store keyholder when needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices, aware of scams and safety procedures.
• Adhere to company policies on attendance, confidentiality, and ethics.
