Powder Mountain in Eden, Utah is seeking a Prep Cook to join our culinary team. You will perform daily prep tasks for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Apres, ensuring ingredients are ready for service and kitchen standards are met.

You will work with line cooks and sous chefs in a fast-paced environment, maintain organization, safety, and sanitation, and follow detailed prep guides to support smooth service and minimize waste.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• 1–3 years of professional kitchen experience in a high-volume or fine dining environment.
• Strong knife skills and safe use of kitchen equipment.
• Utah Food Handler’s Permit required.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily prep tasks according to recipes, specifications, and kitchen standards.
• Maintain uniform cuts, textures, and quality of prepped items.
• Follow detailed prep guides, batch recipes, and portioning requirements.
• Label, date, and store all prepped items properly; keep workstation organized.
• Assist in monitoring product levels and follow FIFO to minimize waste.
• Uphold sanitation and safety standards per health regulations.
• Collaborate with line cooks, sous chefs, and dish staff to ensure smooth service.
• Operate kitchen tools safely and report any maintenance issues.
