Job summary

Michaels Stores is seeking a store associate in Corona, CA to help customers, manage checkout, and participate in stock and merchandising tasks. The role involves assisting with in-store and online order processes, including BOPIS and SFS, while maintaining a welcoming, safe retail environment.

The position requires flexibility with hours, and experience in a fast-paced retail setting is preferred. A benefits package and team member perks are provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns and store recovery.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Follow SOPs and Company policies to comply with laws; promote a positive image.
