Job summary

Total Wine & More is seeking a Front End Team Member to deliver fast and friendly service at the checkout while ensuring accuracy in transactions and strong product knowledge. You will help customers, promote the loyalty program, and support merchandising and stock duties as needed.

Seasonal positions may be short-term, with a focus on customer service excellence, wine and beverage product training, and complying with all store policies and legal requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-3 years of work experience, 1+ years in a retail setting preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including ID verification, payment handling, inquiries, loyalty program promotion, and bagging.
• Greet customers and deliver a personalized experience to build relationships.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards and comply with alcohol sale laws.
• Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
