Job summary

Total Wine & More is seeking a Front End Team Member (Cashier) in our store. The role emphasizes fast, friendly service, accurate transaction processing, and promoting loyalty programs. You will greet customers, answer questions, and help with product knowledge while maintaining store standards and compliance.

The position may be seasonal or part-time with opportunities for non-seasonal conversion. Flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends is required for this role.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of work experience, 1+ years in a retail setting preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including identification verification, payment handling, answering inquiries, promoting loyalty program, and bagging products.
• Deliver exceptional service and a personalized experience by greeting customers and informing about products and services.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol.
