Job summary

Leisure Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Front Desk Clerk at our Border View Lodge in Minnesota. You will manage guest check-ins and check-outs, reservations, and front desk operations with a friendly, outdoorsy hospitality mindset.

Ideal candidates have strong communication skills, enjoy helping guests, and can multitask in a fast-paced environment. Seasonal or year-round shifts offered, with weekends and holidays included.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or hospitality preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable using reservation systems and computers.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and create a welcoming first impression.
• Check guests in and out of cabins, lodges, and campsites.
• Manage reservations via phone, email, and booking software.
• Answer questions about fishing conditions, amenities, lake access, and attractions.
• Process payments and handle cash/credit transactions accurately.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and dock staff for guest readiness.
• Maintain guest records and reservation logs.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate when needed.
• Keep front desk organized, clean, and presentable.
• Assist with retail sales (bait, tackle, merchandise, licenses) if applicable.
