Job summary

Solitude Mountain Resort is seeking a friendly Front Desk Agent to manage receptionist and clerical tasks at our lodging building. As the first point of contact for guests, you will create a positive first impression and deliver outstanding guest service throughout arrivals, departures, and inquiries.

The role requires strong communication, basic accounting, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Seasonal, hourly schedule with holidays and weekends expected.

Qualifications

• Previous guest service experience preferred.
• Commitment to providing the highest level of guest service.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Basic accounting skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Capability to work independently without supervision.
• Strong multitasking skills and prioritization.
• Intermediate computer skills and ability to learn new software.
• Must be 21 years old with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service.
• Handle arrivals and departures, assisting with guest accounting.
• Answer inbound and in-house phone calls, book reservations, and assist with interdepartmental inquiries.
• Respond promptly to guest requests.
• Address lodging, guest folio, and general inquiries via email.
• Log maintenance requests and follow up on their completion.
• Prepare daily reports, including occupancy, arrival, and departure reports.
• Maintain lobby coffee service.
• Assist in mailroom operations.
• Perform light housekeeping to keep the lobby and back areas clean.
• Provide bell service and valet assistance to guests as needed.
