Job summary

Solitude Mountain Resort is seeking a friendly Front Desk Agent to manage receptionist and clerical tasks at our lodging building. As the first point of contact for guests, you will create a positive first impression and deliver outstanding guest service while handling inquiries, reservations, and daily operations.

The role requires a background in guest service, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced mountain environment.

Qualifications

• Guest service experience preferred.
• Ability to provide high level guest service.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Detail-oriented with keen attention to accuracy.
• Basic accounting skills.
• Able to work flexible schedules including holidays/weekends.
• Able to stand for extended periods.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Capable of working independently.
• Strong multitasking and prioritization.
• Proficient with office suites and basic software.
• Must be 21+ with a clean driving record.

Position Summary

Solitude Mountain Resort is seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to manage all receptionist and clerical tasks at our lodging building. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive first impression. Our Front Desk Agents deliver outstanding guest service, ensuring all needs and expectations are met and exceeded. Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service
• Handle arrivals and departures, assisting with guest accounting
• Answer inbound and in-house phone calls, book reservations, and assist with interdepartmental inquiries
• Respond promptly to guest requests
• Address lodging, guest folio, and general inquiries via email
• Log maintenance requests and follow up on their completion, assisting when necessary
• Prepare daily reports, including occupancy, arrival, and departure reports
• Maintain lobby coffee service
• Assist in mailroom operations
• Perform light housekeeping to keep the lobby and back areas clean
• Provide bell service and valet assistance to guests as needed

Job Requirements

• Previous guest service experience preferred
• Commitment to providing the highest level of guest service
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong problem-solving abilities
• Keen attention to detail
• Basic accounting skills
• Flexibility to work various schedules, including holidays and weekends
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Capability to work independently without supervision
• Strong multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and address issues effectively
• Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency with office suites and the ability to learn new software
• Must be 21 years old with a clean driving record
