Job summary

Solitude Mountain Resort is seeking a friendly Front Desk Agent to manage receptionist tasks at our lodging building. You will be the first contact for guests, delivering warm service and ensuring a positive first impression.

This seasonal, hourly role offers perks tied to Solitude and Alterra Mountain Company destinations. Responsibilities include guest check-in/out, reservations by phone and email, and supporting interdepartmental inquiries.

Qualifications

• Previous guest service experience preferred, to create positive first impressions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong problem-solving ability.
• Able to perform light housekeeping and maintain lobby areas.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be 21+ with a clean driving record and work across shifts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service at the front desk.
• Handle arrivals and departures; assist with guest accounting.
• Answer calls, book reservations, and assist with inquiries
• Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries via email.
• Log maintenance requests and follow up; prepare daily occupancy reports.
• Maintain lobby coffee service and assist in mailroom operations.
• Provide bell and valet services as needed.
