Job summary

Solitude Mountain Resort is seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to manage receptionist and clerical tasks at our lodging building. As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive first impression and delivering outstanding guest service.

We are excited to expand our team for the season with this hourly, seasonal role. This position requires excellent communication, basic accounting skills, and the ability to multitask while working

Qualifications

• Previous guest service experience preferred.
• Commitment to providing the highest level of guest service.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Basic accounting skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexible to work various schedules including holidays and weekends.
• Must be 21 years old with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service.
• Handle arrivals and departures, assisting with guest accounting.
• Answer inbound and in-house phone calls, book reservations, and assist with interdepartmental inquiries.
• Respond promptly to guest requests.
• Address lodging, guest folio, and general inquiries via email.
• Log maintenance requests and follow up on their completion.
• Prepare daily occupancy and arrival/departure reports.
• Maintain lobby coffee service; assist in mailroom operations.
• Perform light housekeeping to keep lobby and back areas clean.
• Provide bell service and valet assistance as needed.

Our Front Desk Agents deliver outstanding guest service, ensuring all needs and expectations are met and exceeded.
