Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a part-time Seasonal Framer for our Bakersfield - Rosedale Hwy location. You will deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop, and locate items while maintaining a fast, courteous checkout experience.

You’ll unload trucks, stock shelves, manage planograms, and support SISO, BOPIS, and SFS processes as needed. This role involves standing for long periods, lifting, and working nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Willing to work nights, weekends and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop our store, and find what they’re looking for.
• Ensure all customers receive a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking, planograms, and merchandise recovery to keep the store well merchandised and in stock.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Support omni-channel processes including Buy Online Pick Up in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
