Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Burbank, CA is seeking a part-time Store Associate to build customer relationships and create custom framing solutions. You will help customers shop, process orders, operate the cash register, and maintain a clean, well-stocked framing department.

Responsibilities include meeting SOPs, supporting safety programs, and assisting with truck loading and omni-channel processes. Nights, weekends and early mornings may be required.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills are required.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter is required.
• Retail experience and experience selling products/services to customers are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build customer relationships while creating custom framing solutions.
• Deliver sales and production results with high quality and on-time framing orders.
• Maintain ready-made frame department and other assigned areas; support SOPs and safety programs.
• Provide friendly customer service and help shoppers find products; ensure a well-merchandised and in-stock store.
• Assist with Omni channel processes and participate in truck unload and stocking.
