Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Frederick, MD is seeking a Seasonal Framer to assist customers with framing needs and to prepare custom framing solutions.

You will handle framing orders, operate framing equipment and the glass cutter, maintain a well-organized store, and deliver friendly service while meeting SOPs and safety guidelines. This part-time role requires flexibility for nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills.
• Ability to operate the framing equipment and glass cutter.
• Retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build customer relationships while creating custom framing solutions.
• Deliver sales and production results.
• Complete framing orders with a high degree of quality and on time.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas.
• Deliver friendly customer service; help customers shop and find what they’re looking for; provide a well merchandised and in-stock store for the customer to shop.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
