The Town of Fairfield seeks a seasonal Event Assistant to support the preparation, execution and close-out of events at The Pavilions at Penfield Beach, including Penfield and Jacky Durrell Pavilion. Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old at hire.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Available for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with onsite event support, including setup and breakdown of tables, chairs, and spaces.
• Oversee facility operations during events to ensure proper use of the pavilion.
• Monitor event activities for compliance with Town policies and rental agreements.
• Collaborate on Pavilion programs, activities, events, and tours.
• Assist with general operation and maintenance of the Pavilion and grounds.
• Provide on-site customer service, greet clients, answer questions, and give tours.
