Job summary

Village of Pinehurst seeks a team member to assist with development, promotion and organization of the Fair Barn events. You will work with clients to arrange and follow through on all details of event operations, provide facility tours, and promote rentals.

This role involves extensive public contact requiring tact and courtesy, with work including weekends, evenings and holidays as needed. The employee may be indoors in a banquet hall setting or outdoors as required, under supervision of the

Responsibilities

• Works with clients to arrange and follow through on all details of event operations as assigned.
• Follow-up on customer inquiries, provide facility tours as directed.
• Communicates with client renters.
• Secures facility after each event including locking all doors and windows, turning off all lights, etc.
• Provides information regarding external services available for event planning such as florists, caterers, entertainment, etc.
• Informs supervisor of customer complaints including details of each situation and external vendors involved if appropriate.
• Resolves customer complaints with input from the Special Events Coordinator as needed.
• Performs other assignments and special projects as required.
