Job summary

Jackson Hewitt Tax Service Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Assistant District Manager to lead multi-store district operations, focusing on recruiting, staff development, and profitability.

This full-time seasonal role begins September 01, 2026, with an anticipated end date of April 25, 2027, and potential for year-round opportunities. You will oversee day-to-day activities of seasonal team members, ensure quality standards, and collaborate with HR on training and employee relations while building

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in business or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of management or supervisory experience.
• Tax knowledge preferred; strong client service mindset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation with a valid license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multi-unit retail locations within the district in coordination with the District Manager.
• Lead recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding of seasonal staff.
• Monitor performance, ensure quality standards, and coordinate with HR on training.
• Maintain site standards (office setup, technology, supplies, facilities).
• Drive client retention and brand awareness; handle client inquiries.
• Manage P&L and district-wide productivity reports and goals.
