Jackson Hewitt - BEP is seeking a Seasonal Assistant District Manager to oversee multi-store district operations, lead recruitment, and drive profitability across twenty or more locations in the Clinton area. The ADM will manage day-to-day activities, monitor performance, and collaborate with HR on training and development during the seasonal period.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent business experience required.
• Two years of management or supervisory experience.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with ability to lead and inspire others.
• Tax knowledge preferred.
• Strong communication and client-service skills.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Familiarity with tax preparation software preferred.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multi-unit retail locations in the assigned district and collaborate with the District Manager to maximize efficiency, revenue, and profitability.
• Lead recruiting efforts, interview seasonal staff, and drive tax education and transitions to hire.
• Monitor employee performance to ensure quality standards and deadlines, and coordinate with HR on training and development.
• Ensure all locations meet company standards for offices, technology, and facilities, and manage relationships with property managers.
• Continually grow the business by retaining clients, attracting new ones, and building positive brand awareness.
• Resolve client complaints and answer policy questions.
• Provide guidance to employees for handling difficult problems and escalated disputes.
• Monitor financial performance including GL, P&L, discounts, and productivity across the district.
