Jackson Hewitt - HRW is seeking a Seasonal Assistant District Manager to lead a district of 20+ stores/kiosks, focusing on recruiting, training, and operational excellence. This full-time seasonal role supports revenue growth, client service quality, and staff development across multiple locations.

You will drive tax education, supervise seasonal teams, and collaborate with District Managers to optimize performance while ensuring adherence to company standards and procedures throughout the

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent related business experience.
• Course of study in management or in tax preparation and/or accounting preferred.
• 2 years previous management or supervisory experience required with a passion for leading and inspiring others.
• Tax knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multi-unit retail locations within the assigned district in collaboration with the District Manager.
• Lead recruiting, interview seasonal staff, and drive tax education and staff transitions.
• Monitor performance, ensure quality standards, and coordinate with HR on training and employee relations.
• Ensure locations meet company standards for offices, tech, and facilities; manage relationships with property managers.
• Grow the business by retaining clients, attracting new ones, and enhancing brand awareness.
• Address client questions or complaints about policies and procedures.
• Guide employees in handling complex problems and escalated issues.
• Track GL & P&L performance and meet district goals for revenue, cash control, and tax return counts.
