Job summary

Macy’s is seeking a Seasonal Manager, Operations to coordinate the day-to-day management of the distribution department in our U.S. operations.

You will lead a team of hourly associates, monitor performance, and ensure safety, efficiency, and accuracy in fulfillment and inventory control. You will generate reports, present findings to senior leadership, and partner with IT and other departments to optimize processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in related field.
• Experience leading hourly teams and coordinating distribution operations.
• Ability to analyze metrics and drive process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a distribution department to meet goals.
• Build high performing teams and guide hourly staff.
• Generate management reports on key metrics.
• Ensure safety, cost control, quality, and efficiency.
• Conduct presentations to senior management.
• Collaborate with IT for systems improvements.
• Maintain inventory control and optimize processes.
