Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a part-time Seasonal Service Team Member in Lafayette, IN. You will help customers shop, process purchases quickly and warmly, and support truck unloading and merchandise replenishment across the floor.

Cross-training in framing sales is possible, with a focus on delivering great shopper experiences. Responsibilities include stock management, store recovery, and participation in omni-channel activities like BOPIS.

Qualifications

• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Regular lifting of merchandize and assisting with stock replenishment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and help shoppers find products.
• Ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience with accurate cash handling.
• Unload trucks and stock shelves, maintain store recover standards.
• Engage customers with rewards programs and enrollments where applicable.
• Assist with BOPIS/SFS processes and planogram execution.
• Support store safety, shrink control, and SOP compliance.
