Job summary

Michaels in Lansing is seeking a Store Associate to help customers shop, locate products, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience. You will participate in truck unload, stocking, and maintaining a well-merchandised, in-stock store to deliver our Brand Promises.

Ideal candidates have retail or customer service experience and are able to stand for long periods, assist with BOPIS/SFS, and promote store programs like Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand long periods and move throughout the store.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS and SFS) and carry out truck unload duties.
