Michaels in Commerce Township, MI is seeking a team member for a store associate role focused on delivering friendly customer service and a smooth checkout experience. You will help customers locate products, enroll them in Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards, and participate in unloading trucks, stocking, and store recovery.

Ideal candidates are experienced in retail or customer service, able to stand for long periods, and comfortable with omnichannel processes.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and teammates.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in locating products and providing solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout and handle cash and transactions to standards.
• Promote and enroll customers in the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Support Omni channel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store.
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking, planograms (POGs), and store recovery.
