Job summary

Nordstrom, Inc is seeking a customer-focused associate to provide friendly service, help with returns and order pickup, and ensure accurate transactions at the register.

You will mentor new employees, build trust with customers and teammates, and contribute to a positive store environment while promoting Nordstrom Loyalty and other tools that enhance the customer and employee experience.

Qualifications

• Strong ability to build relationships with customers, peers, and leaders.
• Clear, effective communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to train and deliver POS/register training to support onboarding of new hires.

Responsibilities

• Deliver seamless, friendly service by understanding customer needs and owning interactions from start to finish, whether resolving returns and exchanges, or supporting order and pickup inquiries.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer concerns with empathy, sound judgment, and a solutions-focused approach.
• Accurately process transactions and ticketing using POS and store systems to support inventory accuracy.
• Build relationships with teammates and contribute to a positive, team-focused environment.
• Protect the security and privacy of customer information through education, compliance and resolution of issues.
