Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, MD seeks a Seasonal Cook II to support our resort-style culinary team. You will prepare high-quality dishes for members and work collaboratively in a professional kitchen.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Two-year culinary program preferred.
• Minimum of two years of kitchen preparation and cooking experience.

Responsibilities

• Inventory and prep station items for service.
• Prepare menu items according to recipes and specs.
• Coordinate timing of orders with other kitchen stations.
• Notify Sous Chef of shortages and requisition needed products.
• Maintain clean, sanitary workstations and equipment.
• Set up and break down prep and cook stations.
• Label and store reusable food products properly.
• Suggest maintenance needs for equipment and prep areas.
• Close kitchen following closing checklists.
• Attend kitchen meetings and contribute improvements.
• Prepare items for member and guest service as needed.
• Follow health, sanitation, and food safety regulations.
• Adhere to safety procedures for equipment use.
• Demonstrate knowledge of roles during emergencies.
• Assist with additional duties as assigned.
