Job summary

Solitude Mountain Resort is seeking a Cook II for the Seasonal Food & Beverage division. This role involves preparing, cooking, and seasoning menu items, performing mise-en-place, and assisting the Sous Chef and Chef with daily menus and specials.

The position requires teamwork, accuracy, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays to meet guest demand. The Cook II will also support with food service during peak periods, help ensure stock at stations, and maintain safety and

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of cook and kitchen experience is required.
• Ability to prepare, cook, and season food according to recipes, production standards, and menu specifications.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and communicate with kitchen staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and season dishes in a timely manner while maintaining quality.
• Perform mise-en-place to meet daily business levels.
• Assist Sous Chef and Chef with daily menus, specials, soups, stews, and chilies.
• Prepare and replenish cooked items for service lines and stations.
• Restock ingredients and support guest service during peak hours.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen area.
