Job summary

Wolfoods seeks an experienced Kitchen Manager for a seasonal, on-site role at rustic summer camp facilities. You will supervise daily culinary operations, staff, budgeting, and allergen safety in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

This live-in position requires a strong leader who can oversee meal service, enforce safety standards, and maintain exceptional quality across all meals during May–September.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certified with Allergens training required before start date.

Responsibilities

• Operations & Leadership: Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy environment.
• Culinary & Quality: Manage flow, portions, menu specs, scratch cooking, and timely service.
• Allergen & Safety: Enforce allergen protocols (Kosher, Nut-Free, Gluten-Free, Vegan) and sanitation standards.
• Administration & Budget: Oversee inventory, orders, budgets, and daily reporting.
• Client Relations: Serve as liaison between kitchen, campers, leadership, and Wolfoods office.
