Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at a rural summer camp program across the United States. You will oversee prep and production for designated day parts, manage staff, and ensure allergen safety in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

This on-site, live-in position offers competitive seasonal pay, a bonus structure, and full room and board for the duration of the contract.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch/cic batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to live on-site in a rustic setting and work a demanding 6-day/70-hour week.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee prep and production for designated day parts; ensure timely meal service.
• Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Strictly manage allergen protocols and sanitation standards.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
