Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager for an on-site, live-in role at rural summer camp facilities across the US. The position is seasonal (May–Sept) and full-time exempt, with a demanding 6-day/70-hour week schedule and a travel-inclusive setting.

Responsibilities include overseeing daily culinary operations, staff management, budgeting, and strict allergen safety compliance, while delivering scratch-cooked meals and maintaining top sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certification; Allergens knowledge required before start date (company-sponsored).

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy environment.
• Oversee culinary quality, portion control, menu specs, and scratch cooking.
• Manage allergen safety protocols and health department sanitation standards.
• Control inventory, place orders, track budgets and daily reporting.
• Liaise between kitchen, campers, camp leadership and Wolfoods corporate office.
