Job summary

Wolfoods is hiring a Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our rural summer camps across the US. This on-site, live-in position oversees daily culinary operations, staff scheduling, budgeting, and allergen safety in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

Expect a demanding but rewarding season (May–Sept) with 6‑day weeks, competitive pay and a bonus structure. You will ensure scratch cooking, portion control, and strict safety and sanitation standards while supporting campers and camp

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certified; Allergens certification required before start date.
• Strong leadership, budgeting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to stand long hours and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy environment.
• Oversee culinary operations, portion control, and scratch cooking execution.
• Manage allergen safety protocols and maintain Health Department standards.
• Administer inventory, orders, budgets, and daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen, campers, camp leadership, and Wolfoods office.
