Shenandoah Hospitality is seeking a Camp Host to support Shenandoah National Park’s campgrounds in Stanley, VA. You will help maintain clean, safe sites, collect fees, and assist guests with a friendly, professional presence. This seasonal role offers hands-on hospitality experience in a mountain environment.

You will work under the Campgrounds Manager in the Campgrounds department, performing daily tasks to ensure a welcoming, well-kept park experience for millions of visitors each year.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required for the role.
• Customer service experience preferred; seasonal position.
• Ability to lift 25–30 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsabilités

• Collect camping and vehicle fees from visitors and fee tubes.
• Clean bathrooms, campsites, fire rings and related areas per guidelines.
• Dispose of trash and maintain receptacles regularly.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to supervisor.
• Replace light bulbs and supplies in buildings and restrooms.
• Maintain neat campgrounds by mowing, trimming, and watering.
• Report safety issues or repairs to maintenance supervisor.
• Perform additional campground duties as needed.
