Job summary

Shenandoah National Park, operated by Shenandoah Hospitality under ExplorUS, is seeking a Campground Manager to lead operations in the Blue Ridge Mountains. You will oversee large, complex campground operations, coordinate with the Partnering Agency, and drive guest experiences with a focus on safety, budgeting, and staff development.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of progressive multi-site management experience in a hospitality or outdoor recreation setting.
• Experience partnering with public agencies or managing landlord/tenant relationships preferred.
• Knowledge of budgeting, accounting, and safety compliance.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all regular operations for the assigned area and informs corporate officers of needs.
• Leads liaison activities with the Partnering Agency and coordinates services per contract.
• Collaborates on interpretive programming and enhances guest experience.
• Manages guest satisfaction, responds to incidents, and maintains safety standards.
• Directs recruiting, training, scheduling, and supervision of personnel with HR and GM guidance.
• Oversees budget portions, financial performance, and reporting to General Manager.
