Job summary

Spoleto Festival USA, America's premier performing arts festival, seeks a Box Office Coordinator for the 2027 Festival season in Charleston, SC. You will own group sales, luxury travel planner sales, and coordinate staff to ensure seamless box office operations across venues.

You will work with a polished, client-focused team to deliver hospitable experiences for patrons and guests, while managing shifts, training, and inventory for a successful festival run from mid-November 2026 through June

Qualifications

• Seasonal, full-time, exempt position for the 2026–2027 season.
• Experience in box office, hospitality, or luxury travel preferred.
• Ability to provide excellent client service and anticipate client needs.
• Familiarity with Tessitura for holds, orders, payments, and fulfillment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to train staff.

Responsibilities

• Set the tone for exceptional hospitality for staff and volunteers.
• Manage group sales and luxury travel planner sales in Tessitura from outreach to fulfillment.
• Treat each planner as a client and respond promptly to needs.
• Coordinate schedules for Apprentices, Ticket Agents, and Drivers, covering shifts when needed.
• Assist in training staff across Box Office & Visitor Experience roles, focusing on Tessitura and procedures.
• Prepare will call, equipment, and supplies for performances and hand off to Visitor Experience teams.
• Support box office operations and patron service by phone, email, and in person.
• Oversee merchandise fulfillment and keep inventory accurate and stocked.
• Coordinate and manage festival pop-ups at community events and recruit volunteers.
