Job summary

Spoleto Festival USA in Charleston, SC, seeks a Company Manager to lead housing, travel logistics, and year‑round operations for the festival, coordinating with producers, artists, and staff. You’ll hire, train, and supervise seasonal staff, manage housing setups, travel plans, driver scheduling, and partner with housing vendors to ensure smooth, on‑time performances.

The role is hybrid, with on-site work during the production period; requires long hours, nights and weekends, and collaboration

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics for performing arts or large events.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Willingness to work long hours during the Festival.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate housing for artists, crew, staff, and consultants.
• Manage housing setup, closeout, and check-in/out procedures.
• Document travel plans and support airport transfers and driver scheduling.
• Hire, train, and supervise seasonal staff.
• Plan travel for Chorus and Orchestra Audition tours and donor events.
• Maintain relationships with housing partners and assist sponsorships.
• Review policies annually to improve management support for artists and staff.
• Contribute to long-range strategy and season planning on housing and logistics.
