Job summary

The Langham Hospitality Group is seeking a guest-focused food and beverage server for The Langham Chicago. This seasonal position runs from November through January, supporting service in the Bar and Restaurant and ensuring Forbes standards are met.

You will set up tables, assist bartenders, and work with a team to deliver memorable guest experiences. Prior F&B experience and strong English communication are required.

Qualifications

• Prior Food and Beverage experience required.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation.
• Ability to read, speak and understand English.
• Able to operate common beverage equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables in assigned sections with attention to detail.
• Inspect linens, silver, china for cleanliness.
• Serve food, coffee, water and beverages to guests.
• Work with outlet team including servers, porters, and kitchen staff.
• Explain dishes clearly and accurately to guests.
• Assist bartenders with bar setup and replenishment.
• Clear and reset tables as needed.
• Maintain health and safety procedures and hotel standards.
• Provide excellent guest service and respond to special requests.
• Attend department meetings and learn hotel facilities to assist guests.
