Job summary

Ferrovial, through its Webber operation, seeks skilled construction/maintenance personnel in Canada to maintain and repair roadways and related infrastructure. You will operate field equipment, perform traffic control, and assist with emergency response rotations.

Ideal candidates hold a High School Diploma, a valid Ontario G license, and 3+ years in highway or related maintenance. The role is on-site with varying shifts and a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Proficient in written and spoken English communication.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical functions.
• Ability to follow safety policies and procedures.
• Experience reading and interpreting safety rules and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair highway and other surfaces including signs, guardrails, fence, potholes, reflectors, and shoulders.
• Operate vehicles and equipment for surface and right-of-way maintenance and repair; manage slopes, berms, culverts, drains, and vegetation.
• Assist with snow and ice removal using appropriate equipment.
• Assist with traffic control setup/removal and transport crew/equipment.
• Be available for overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
