Job summary

Ferrovial Construction Canada is seeking a field maintenance worker to support highway surface upkeep, signs, and guardrails. You will operate heavy equipment and assist with routine repairs across municipal roadways.

The role requires ability to perform snow removal, traffic control setup, and occasional overtime. A valid driver’s license and a safety-focused mindset are essential for daily site tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years related construction/road maintenance experience.
• Valid Ontario Class G driver's license or higher and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair highway surfaces, signs, guardrails, and related infrastructure.
• Operate vehicles and equipment for maintenance and repair tasks.
• Perform snow and ice removal as needed.
• Set up and manage traffic control.
• Transport crew and equipment to worksites.
• Join emergency response rotations as required.
