Job summary

Encore in Orlando is seeking a Seasonal Audio-Visual Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality setting. You will report to the Operations Manager or Director of Event Technology and ensure guest satisfaction.

This is a seasonal full-time role with an anticipated end date of May 2027, offering full-time benefits, overtime, and hands-on training to support career growth and advancement. Based on performance, you may reapply for future opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Must meet/validate and complete all training and certifications within 60 days of start date.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for vehicle operation.
• DOT requirements may need to be met if applicable.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and break down basic audiovisual equipment as listed in qualifications.
• Exceed the expectations and needs of internal and external customers.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues and resolve promptly.
• Complete system entries and coordinate with staff and outside vendors.
• Utilize floor up-selling techniques to increase revenue and assist with invoicing.
• Process orders in Navigator as needed.
